How to burn photos & videos to DVD for playing on TV

1. Add photos and videos

Drag your photos and videos into DVD Photo Slideshow. Photos and videos will be in different albums. If you like, you can divide photos into several albums according to your photos type. For example put photos taken in a party in the Party album and photos taken during vacation in Vacation album. You can organize photo order and video order by dragging and dropping.

Note: DVD Photo Slideshow only supports avi video, so before adding videos, you need to convert videos to avi format. You can use our Clone2go Video Converter Free Version to convert. Please select avi from Profile drop-down list, and select msmpeg4v2 as the video codec.

2. Personalize your photo slideshow

After adding your photos, you can customize the photo slideshow with your own style. You can select dynamic transitions and pan / zoom effects, choose a theme, add text and subtitles on photos, etc. Also you can use your own music as the slideshow background.

3. Choose a DVD menu

Click Choose Menus tab to choose a DVD menu from various templates. After selecting a menu template, you can add background music and image for the menu, edit menu title and visibility, set navigator and preview the real effect of the video and photo slideshow DVD.

Before burning photos and videos onto DVD, you’d better preview the real effect. Select Preview tab in Choose Menus and click the Play button.

4. Burn photos and videos to DVD

DVD / CD File System: Set Volume Label, Publish and Copyright text.

DVD Recorder Options: Select Record Speed, DVD copies and others.

How to make a looping slideshow DVD for playing on TV

3. Burn a slideshow onto DVD

Click Burn Disc tab, you can insert a DVD disk into your computer and burn the slideshow onto DVD. You can burn a slideshow to DVD-R / RW, DVD+R / RW, CD-R/RW.

To play a DVD slideshow on TV, you need to select suitable TV System: PAL or NTSC. PAL is used in European and Asian countries while NTSC is used throughout North / South America and Japan.

After selecting DVD / CD recorder and setting parameters, click Burn Disc button to burn a slideshow onto DVD.

How to create free ringtones for iPhone

Unlike Android cellphone, iPhone does not allow you to use songs in music library as ringtone directly. In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to make a ringtone on your iPhone using songs from your music library.

Sync a .m4r file to your iPhone Tones list with iTunes

You can not use the .m4r file as your iPhone ringtone directly and have them appear in the tones list. Instead, you have to save those .m4r files to your computer and sync with iTunes to get those tones working on your iPhone.

1. Plug your iPhone into PC with data cable(You can also connect iPhone to PC over WiFi). Click your iPhone name under DEVICEs in left sidebar. Select “Apps“ button, scroll down to “File Sharing“ section.

2. Select “Ringtones” from App list, you can see the “Ringtone” folder in right panel. Click “Save to…” button to export the Ringtone folder to PC(such as desktop).

3. Add the “Ringtone” folder to “Tones” in iTunes Library list. You can drag the whole folder into Tones area, or drag certain ringtones. Note: If the Tones option does not appear in Library list, please click “View->Preference->General Preference”, and check “Tones” under “General”.

4. Click your iPhone name, and then click “Summary” tab, scroll down to “Options” section. Check “Manually manage music and videos” and apply the setting.

5. Drag music from iTunes Tones LIBRARY to your iPhone’s Tones library.

How to view a slideshow in portrait or landscape mode on iPad

In this tutorial, I will show you how to change a slideshow viewing mode on iPad, from landscape mode to portrait mode, or from portrait view to landscape view. For some portrait photos, it will be better to view them in portrait view instead of landscape view, such as photos from a fashion show.

How to delete photos from your iPad

There are some pictures you want to remove from your iPad. Some images has a trash can you can use, but others do not have. And how to delete multiple photos from an iPad? In this article, I will introduce different ways to delete pictures from iPad.

iPad’s photo app can both store photos from PC with iTunes and photos saved from from e-mail, or photos taken with iPad’s camera. You can delete photos taken with the iPad camera and saved from email and text messages on iPad easily. However, photos synced from PC must be removed through iTunes as well.

1. Delete photos on iPad directly without iTunes

Photos taken with iPad’s camera or saved from email can be removed from iPad directly. You can delete these photos one by on or delete multiple photos at the same time.

Delete one photo at a time on iPad:

Launch the Photos app on your iPad, open the album and find the photo you want to delete. Also you can tap the Photos tab which contains all photos on iPad to find the photo.
Tap the photo you want to delete to open it.
When the photo is displayed in full screen, tap the Trash can in upper right corner.
Then tap Delete Photo button to delete current photo.

Delete multiple photos on iPad

Open an album which contains photos you want to delete.
Tap the Edit button in upper right corner.
Tap photos to select them.
Tap the Remove button to delete selected multiple photos.

2. Delete synced photos on iPad through iTunes

To delete photos that you transferred from PC to your iPad Photos app using iTunes, you have to connect iPad to your computer and use the sync process to delete previously synced photos.

Connect iPad to PC using data cable or via WiFi.
Open the synced album on your computer and delete the photos you want to remove from your iPad. Or you can move photos out of the album.
Launch iTunes on your PC. Your iPad will appear in the left sidebar under DEVICEs.
Click your iPad name and select Photos tab on the top in iTunes management screen, then select the edited folder from Sync Photos from drop-down list.
Select the “Selected albums, Events and Faces, and automatically include” option and place a check mark next to the photo albums you want to sync with your iPad. Select the album from which you removed the individual photos.
Click the Apply button to remove the synced photos from your iPad.
