How to make a Christmas Photo Slideshow DVD with music

Step-by-step instructions to make a Christmas photo slideshow DVD

Step 1. Organize Photos

Open DVD Photo Slideshow, click “Organize Photos” and find the folder which includes photos you want to use and drag photos to the “Album Photo” window. Also you can click “Add” to locate photos and add them.

Then you can arrange photo order by dragging, rotate photos, edit photos, add art clips.

Click “Transition &Music”, you can change transition effects. Actually, the software will apply random transitions to photos, however, you can change transitions . DVD Photo Slideshow provides over 300 transitions for choosing. Click “Add” to import songs from computer as background music. Then in the “Album Setting”, you can set the transition and slides time.

Click “Album Theme” to choose a theme for your slideshow. For a Christmas slideshow,  a Christmas theme is pretty suitable. There are themes for slideshows about Birthday, Wedding, Thanksgiving, Graduation and others.

Step 2. Choose Menus

Switch to tab “Choose Menus”, you can choose a DVD menu and customize it. Over 90 menus are available, also it is available to import a image to make your own menu. For a Christmas slideshow DVD, you can choose a Christmas menu or import a Christmas image and Christmas song as background music.

Step 3. Burn Disc

Go to tab “Burn Disc” and choose “DVD Video Disc” from output format. If you want to play the Slideshow DVD on TV, you need to choose “NTSC” or “PAL” under “TV System”. Also you can choose 4:3 or 16:9 TV aspect ratio.

Then click “Burn Now” to start to burn slideshow DVD.
